Learning Designed to Grow With Your Child
Acton Academy North Broward serves learners from age 5 through 18, with each studio designed to meet them at their current stage of development while steadily building independence, responsibility, and ownership of their education.
For Ages 5–7+
Ignite Studio
Ignite learners begin their Hero's Journey through hands-on exploration, Montessori-inspired learning, play, and meaningful responsibility. They practice making choices, caring for their environment, working independently, solving problems, and building the social and emotional skills they need to become confident learners.
For Ages 8–11+
Discovery Studio
Discovery learners take a bigger role in managing their own learning. They set goals, track their progress, work through challenges, collaborate with peers, and learn to hold themselves accountable. Through academics, Socratic discussions, and hands-on Quests, learners begin discovering their strengths, passions, and ability to direct their own growth.
For Ages 12–14+
Explore Studio
Explore learners are expected to take increasing ownership of their time, goals, work, and choices. They develop stronger work habits, leadership, critical thinking, and personal accountability while tackling more challenging academics, real-world projects, and apprenticeships. Guides step further back as learners learn to manage themselves and pursue excellence.
For Ages 14–18
Adventure Studio
Adventure is the final stage of the Acton journey, where learners move toward true self-governance. They design increasingly individualized learning paths, pursue meaningful apprenticeships and real-world work, build portfolios, explore careers and callings, and prepare for college, entrepreneurship, or their next great adventure — with the independence to chart their own course!
